arranging my galleries- Help

Did smugmug change something? After adding a event today on my site i cant arrange the galleries.After allways loading a new event it goes to the bottom of the page and i allways arrange to show up as the 1st event.I move event click on save and and it reverts to previous setting Help

    I think I love EVERYTHING about my SmugMug sites, except for arranging galleries. It's SOOO frustrating, glad to hear someone is working on it! :devbobo

    Arranging Galleries??
    Hi I was wondering if this problem got fixed yet? I have 3 smug accounts & my two older ones I can still arrange just fine, but my new one does not give me the option of arranging galleries & I desperately need to!
    Any advice? Much appreciated.

    Greetings to all! I am a new DGrin and SmugMug user, and I am banging the table trying to understand how to create the following structure:

    Parent --> SubCat --> Gallery

    Or, more specifically:

    Travel --> Malaysia --> Juara
    (and then several galleries under "Malaysia")

    Is this an issue you guys are discussing here? Or will someone take pity and direct me to the info source (as I have already spent over an hour researching and trying to work this out. Not a good first impression, but I'll hang in for a bit longer.mwink.gif)

    Hi Travelwithme,

    What you are looking for is our Category>Sub-category>Gallery>Photo layout.

    You can find information on this here: http://www.smugmug.com/help/upload-photo

    You need to create the categories and sub-categories in your control panel on the customize tab before they will appear in your gallery customizations drop downs. Do keep in mind that there are default categories that you cannot delete or rename. Travel is a default category so you do not need to create it. You would just need to create sub-categories for it.
