How to "get the gear"

I shot the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon in San Diego this weekend. It was tons of fun and I can't wait for the next one. While there I sawe other shooters with various types of gear. One gal was carrying the Canon 300/2.8. I pointed the lens out to my wife and her jaw dropped. Sje asked what lens it was and I told her. She asked how much it was and I said, "That's the one I want for $3899." She replied with, "That's really not so expensive."

What that means is that she sees that you are getting a lot of metal and glass for the price. It it not like buying a Leica 35/1.4 ASPH for $2695 and then trying to explain why a lens the size of a donut hole costs so much.

Of course it helps to "understand" why women's shoes cost so much. Reverse psychology can go a long way. :D

    Well, the real question is..
..Did you request the overnight delivery, or just 2d day air ? :D
