Hi Guys,
I havnt posted much here in quite a while, but I still lurk sometimes, and I really like what I see!

I second shot this wedding for David Freund a few weeks ago and would love some feedback. This is only the second time I have shot a wedding in any capacity (both second shooting)

It was very laid back, just the couple, their two small kids, and two friends. In some ways it was a bit like a family shoot with a ceremony thrown in :rofl

I have done minimal processing with nearly all of these, using nothing but Adobe RAW.

#1 - The dress

#2 - The couple had a sand pit with a cool little boat setup so we let the kids play while we took their picture :)

#5 - The bride making final adjustments

#6 - Hello.... peeping tom!

#7 - We walked down to the ceremony on the beach, a short walk through the coastal scrub. Please let me know if you think this processing works.. ?

#8 - This was everyone at the wedding, except the photographers

#3 & 4 seem a little cool compared to the rest.

Maybe pump up the saturation in 10??

    5 & 9 are great!

I like 7... Just wish they had a little more of a glow/presence??

    great job...enjoyed! :D

I think these look great. I did a wedding that was almost this same amount of people.

Looks like a fun time! I think you did a good job of capturing the relaxed nature of the event, everyone just looks calm and happy, and I'm sure they'll appreciate these.

Personally, I like #13, though maybe see if you can do a tighter crop to eliminate the empty space on the left? Might be tough to do while keeping the feeling of the flowers (?) in the air, but it feels a bit unbalanced right now.

    All in all, nice job!

Thanks for the feedback - you are right about the cooler temp. of #3&4. I should have fixed it in post, these were the earliest shots of the day before the warmer light which a lot of the others were shot in.

Thanks, and yes it was good fun!

I agree about #13, a tighter crop would definitely work, and get rid of some of the dead space.

Any other advice out there for a beginner?
