The Dark Hedges, Northern Ireland

I've not been shooting for long (about a year) so go easy on me. But now that my site is just about done, I'm spending a bit more time on photography again!
This is a photo I took in Northern Ireland of a row of Beech trees known as 'The Dark Hedges'. I new at the time it would make a good B&W. I seem to be having some success with it in the UK, it is currently a finalist photo in "International Garden Photographer of the Year" http://www.igpoty.com/competition02/winners_Trees_Fin7.asp?parent=winners and a couple of galleries in Edinburgh are showing it. So I thought I'd share it with some folk across the pond. Hope you like it.

I love this piece! I'm completely lost in the branches (in a good way).
It puts me right into Tolkien's Trilogy.
Great work!
Kristine
I think that is one beautiful shot. I would love to see it in colour.

Bob
EDIT: I've just found out that I came second in my category which I'm pretty chuffed with. Have a look: http://www.igpoty.com/competition02/winners_Trees.asp?parent=winners
There's going to be a "people choice" award coming up soon, so I may call on you for some support!!
