My grosbeak's partner shows this morning!

A lucky few days for me. I've never seen a female of this species until today. My rose-breasted grosbeak's partner sat for a spell. :D

    Thanks Ben. Do you have to be stealthy to find that nest? If so, I'll never make it. My bones creak too much. :D

    The first one had me confused until I realized that bit over her eye was a seed shell suspended mid air. Right?

    Thank you Ric. Yeah, that's a suspended seed shell. She could reach the tray from that perch and there was some big time chowing down going on. :D
    She must like that new seed I bought because she's been there off and on all day today. A pleasant change from the usual.

    Thank you Glenn, appreciate it. Been kinda fun capturing that something a little different. Here in N. Indiana we don't have quite the variety you folks on the coast have so this is MY big deal. :D
