Elinchrom Ranger Kit - Questions

JUST ordered an Elinchrom Ranger RX Speed AS kit with Free Lite A head for my action photography. Had been saving for a while, now I'm poor again :D

Question. I read AFTER I placed the order that the Ranger has a proprietary sync port. The description on Adorama says the kit comes with a sync cable. Wondering what kind of cable it comes with? I assume it MUST at least be able to plug into the proprietary port on the Ranger, wondering what the other end looks like - PC, jack?

Also looking for all and any "tips & tricks" you might have about this pack, anything about it you found out the hard way, any neat features that are hidden away.

So stoked, can't wait to start using it!!

    You might try this post on the Lighting Technique forum over on dpreview.com too. Lot of gear/lighting folks there.

    I've been eyeing the Elinchroms for a bit too-- so I'm curious how you end up liking it. I've heard great reviews.
