Holy s--t AZ. Please explain, and why is that stop sign floating in mid air?[/quote
The fire was a controlled burn in the median for hwy. 85 south of Buckeye.
I watched for about a half hour and this was the biggest flare up. As for the stop sign... the pole ran out of the picture and I couldn't fix it, so I nuked it. I was getting ready to delete it and thought that is a fun pic, so I posted it. I think that things that run in and out of pictures don't make for good composition...:D azzaro

What do ya mean... "the pole in the picture ran out?" Was the heat so intense that it somehow made the pole appear invisible due to it being slim and silver?

Thanks for commenting.........The picture as shot wasn't well composed. The pole for the stop sign ran out of the picture. There was a highway separating me and the fire, the stop sign was on my side of the hwy. I believe that things that run in or out of a picture do not make for good composition. Another way to put it, you could see the sign and the pole, but not the bottom of the pole where it ran into the ground.......I nuked the pole..... azzaro

I've never seen a floating Stop sign--it fits well with the flames, as in "Stop that fire!!"
