I'm an amateur photographer-at-large without any special interest in any type of photographs. I do people, birds, bugs, sports, table-top, animals, and whatever catches my eye.

Every time I try something new, I find out how difficult it can be. I shot my first track meet today. Man! It's difficult. You shoot at the time of day that the meet dictates, you can't move the sun, you can't manipulate the background, you can't go wide and still get detail, and you have to (at least at this meet) stay behind the fences. (High school district championships)

Focus is difficult. No poses; you shoot what you get and hope it captures something worth viewing.

I'm still post-processing, but here's one of the first done. I picked it because of the different styles of the runners over the hurdles.

Looks real good for first time Tony (good job @ ss400). A CP might have been helpful to reduce dynamic range.
