I need to clean out my closet, and make room for new stuff. :-)

I was trying to sell the equipment locally through craigslist, but alas no takers.......................

Original Canon Digital Rebel 6.3 MP. This is in great shape, and still takes nice photos. An excelent way to get started in the digital world. Includes everything that it came with in box with the 18-55 kit lens / UV filter / 1GIG CF card / battery, and battery charger, and Remote cord RS60-E3. $300.00 for everything.

28-135 IS mm macro 3.5-5.6---$300.00

Portable 40 gig hard drive with built in CF card slot to store photos in the field.---$50.00

Tamron 70-300mm Macro 4-5.6 $100.00

70-200mm 2.8L Lens----$950.00 Excellent condition and sharp! No defects....as new.

Will consider trade +or- $$ for L glass, tilt shift, pano head set up, etc.

I do not have pay pal, but can accept MC / Visa cards, or checks.

Sam

What brand is the HD? Does it have a screen to show status or pictures?

Here is a photo of the HD. The screen will not render an image but does show download status.

    I Don't need a 40D, but I could use the 85 1.8. And maybe the 17-55 2.8 IS. for an even trade.

If Im selling the lens, Im looking around $825, plus shipping and paypal fee, it really is in brand new condition.

But Im sending it to Sam soon, as part of the deal, if he doesnt like it, that means Im gonna sell it locally first if possible, then here.

    Hi Jeremy,

The trade went perfectly. I sold the 17 to 55 to my friend in AZ with a crop camera, kept the 85 1.8, and bought a 70-200 2.8 IS. I felt I could benefit by having the IS.

Ahh, congrats on the IS... So hard to find a used 70-200 2.8 non IS (in my price range), or a 80-200 2.8 "Magic Drainpipe"... I've tried searching many forums (here, FM, POTN ne_nau.gif) As well as the major camera websites (Adorama, B&H, KEH)... In a day or two I'm going to post a WTB thread...

Will do! I finally found one on POTN. I found it an hour after the guy posted it, I said I'll take it! and not even 5 minutes later someone else was posting about it! So I got lucky! It will arrive on the 23rd. :D Sorry to hijack this thread Sam...
