Red has a bad eye..........
You have recently seen several photos that I have posted of a Male Cardinal. All were profiles of his right side with good "catch light" in the eye.
His left side never showed any "catch light" because of an eye injury. It does not seem to bother him any, and he acts normally, but his left side is unattractive.
