Skyports or AlienBees?

Looks like I can get the Alienbees for 60(transmitter)+70(receiver). I know the skyports are a little bit more expensive, the i've heard only good things about the alienbees. Currently I'm rockin' the Cactus V2's, which has a mind of its own. Any input is much appreciated.

being a Paul Buff fan to start with....I would opt for his....the Alien Bees......and save some money.......I am getting ready to up grade my studio in the near future but if his Wireless triggers as any where near as good as his lighting equipment that I have....it'll last a very long time past the end of the warranty...............

Art, If you havn't seen them yet, take a look at the new AB Max that should be out soon. Some nice features.

I just picked up one CyberSync transmitter / receiver from AB and they work perfectly. Range is excellent - I only tested them to ~100 feet but worked flawlessly even with some walls between at that distance. I'm pleased with them!

WOW.....Thanks for the link.....I had not seen them and when I ordered a new light stand adapter the customer service rep did not mention it either......I would have if some one called me for a prt for an almost 20yr old strobe unit....(old but still pounds out the light.....)
