When I was down in Moab I saw an Artist who had his picture printed into the glass so that it was lit from the backside and looked transparent. I was wondering what that was called and if anyone knew where I could get that type of printing done?
Thanks!
Thanks!

One is glass transfers, but they seem more like what you get on drinking glasses and product bottles and I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for. Try www.glasstransfers.com

Many people did a transfer with the print by soaking the print in water (in a developing tray usually) and then apply the emulsion to glass, metal or what ever and smooth it out while still wet.....once dry it is permanent (supposedly)......of course after drying it should be coated with a UV inhibitor spray (3m makes great ones)
This of course will NOT work with any type of printing like inkjet....it has to be emulsion type photo paper and RC would probably work best..........
