PopularPhotos thumbs don't readjust size when gallery thumbs are adjusted

My site: http://www.jerrybarton.eu - but I've now disabled the PopularPhotos list.

To recreate:
Create some galleries - customize the thumbs to 'square'.
Give a 'thumbs up' to a few pictures.
Layout the homepage so the 'popular photos list' shows.
You will see that the thumbnails in the popular photos list are square. OK

Now go back to some galleries and customize so that the thumbnails are 'original'
Bug: The popular photos list on the homepage will still show square thumbnails - with the original thumbnail squashed and stretched to fit a square.

The workaround I found is to turn off the 'popular photos list' on the homepage and turn it on again. The thumbs will be properly as in the source galleries. Obviously the popular photos list format is being cached and not updated when galleries are customized.

I wouldn't call this high priority, since there is a simple workaround - but it might have some underlying implications.
