Can you be more specific? What are you trying to accomplish?

Do you want awesome pictures of the food you're grilling, the grill itself, the people eating the food, the flies and other unwanted guests?

Are you shooting in direct sunlight at high noon, afternoon sidelight, night shots, etc?

Post back some specifics and I am sure people will help out.

Well here's a little photo of the problem I'm having.

I want to get the smoke in thick but every time I take a smoke shot it seems to disspeer, No matter what shot I'm going for the smoke doesn't seem to exist and or it's hardly visible,

Here's the example. ( see no smoke but it does look like it was trying to show it? )

And here's another shot I took and I forgot what setting's I've used to make the smoke. 484020530_mHZPw-L.jpg

I've never tried shooting smoke but I suspect it has to do with light. I would think if the backgound is to bright, the smoke won't be visible. Maybe try backlighting the smoke and also have a dark background?

I'm sure someone else on here will have more experience on this topic than I do but thought I would try to help.
