Simple gizmo attached to your OVF and gives you the nice flip LCD, so you can do waist-level shooting (candids, low-angle shots, etc).
Kinda gives you the best of both worlds - razor-sharp true OVF for the normal shooting, and the convenience of the LCD when you need it..

Thats a pretty good idea actually... I cant tell you how many times someone has picked up my camera to take a picture and stared at the LCD screen expecting to see something :D Then I tell them you have to look through the viewfinder to see the shot, and they look at me like it is prehistoric...

Yours looks way more Pro than this p-n-s LCD thingie:D

Jokes aside, yours is truly optical, right? And the price is like 60% of this new gizmo...

nod.gif Yes, and I saw that. It comforts me to know that I paid less for something optically superior. 1drink.gif

Question: can you view from the distance (like that LCD) or you need to "press" your eye into it? I mean - can it be used for candid/waist level shooting? I didn't get that from the description..

    Thanks!

Think of how easy it will be to take pictures from overhead or around corners!

    How do you like it?
How about the magnification for focusing?
I am also thinking of getting one of these for my landscape photos.

    Thanks

Yes, that's why I bought it as well, Fred. After Yosemite, I realized that kneeling down in puddles wasn't my strong suit. I found myself having trouble lining up shots when the tripod was set close to the ground.
