As usual, little time and now it is down to the wire. I really wanted to learn from this as it was a challenge for me. There are so many photographers that I admire so one was hard to choose. I thought immediately of landscape because that is my favorite. But I chose Chase Jarvis from his black and white people series and combined that with his commercial photos. I wanted to add my own approach with his so this is really a learning experience for me but FUN!
Which...High Contrast or Normal?

#1 for me, though I am not seeing the Jarvis influence except in the subject matter (which is probably my fault!). The second one seems too ordinary for what you are going for.

I find #1 too hot and #2 not quite strong enough.

I agree... a blend would be nice. Maybe layer the two and try some varying opacities.

    I agree Eia
I love the detail in #1 and the softness and tones in #2..

so I agree, if you could merge and find an in between that would work great..

    Like the pose here too..

Nice work and Best of Luck thumb.gifthumb
