Where did my pictures go?

So I selected Tools>Move to Gallery, selected four pictures from the gallery, picked an existing gallery from the list and hit "Move". Those four pictures are no longer in the original gallery, but they haven't materialized in the destination gallery yet (it's now a half hour later) nor have they shown up anywhere else - or at least no other gallery is showing as being updated within the last day. I'm used to it taking a few (up to five or six) minutes to move pictures sometimes, but never this long. I can give details (gallery links, filenames) if necessary.

So there were 40 pictures in this gallery:

I moved IMG_8674.JPG, IMG_8690.JPG, IMG_8698.JPG and IMG_8701.JPG to this gallery:
http://monkeytales.smugmug.com/gallery/8076496_PEWfD
Which had 18 photos in it.
The first gallery then showed 36 photos, but the second stayed at 18 photos (and the moved ones didn't show up)...

until just now. So that's 36 minutes from the time I hit the Move button to the time they showed up in the destination gallery. So don't get me wrong, I'm VERY glad they showed up (disappearing photos is very very bad), but half an hour to move photos already on the server!?
