Then maybe they removed it. Severe case of negligence.
When ants look like this they are almost cute. Until they crawl out of the crevices in your closest and you don't realize it until you put a pair of brown pants on and they eat your skin UP!!!!!!
True story- I hate them.
But good hots none the less

Yes they do seem more reflective and they have a much more textured surface on most of the body than the common black ants
