Amazon Payments...

Unbelievable... Although I applaud adding new stuff to Smugmug, this is a kick in the guts.
From the Amazon Payment site:
Note:
At this time, payments can be made only in U.S. Dollars.
The new, shiny payments system is STILL USD ONLY. I know this isn't integrated as the shopping cart yet, but it makes sense to assume that if a new payment processor would be added for the shopping cart, it would be Amazon Payments.
Tell me I'm wrong. Please.
Cheers - N

Imagine the reasons that this is actually good for SmugMug, eh? Amazon is rather a large company, and this opens up some other doors for us, doesn't it? I'm not going to specifically go into any of them. But I can assure you we don't do these things to harm you.
I know you want international currency support.

Thanks for the reply Andy - I know this is just for subscription payments. I was just projecting and thinking that IF Smugmug were to ever offer an alternative customer payments system, it would likely be with an existing payment processor. It seems reasonable to assume that with all the Amazon synergies on Smugmug, that it would now be Amazon Payments.
Amazon Payments only (currently) supports $USD.
If Paypal was an option for customers purchasing from the cart, you would have multiple currency support.
I know you don't comment about what you are developing, but could you venture to say if the alignment with Amazon Payments means that we're never going to see Paypal officially for commercial reasons?
And of course I don't expect Amazon reps with dark suits and thin briefcases to turn up on my doorstep and give me a good beating - but it's endlessly frustrating to see the US-centric approach taken by Smugmug being so consistently reinforced.
