Go to the image in your SmugMug gallery and click the photo you want to use here. Right above the image, on the right half of your screen, is a button labeled "Share". Click that and a drop-down will appear. Click on the "Get a link". That will give you a drop down of available sizes.

Go down to "Large" and click where the http: info is. The word "copied" will appear. Then, open your post here, add your text info, and click the icon above that looks like mountain in a yellow background. Delete the "http://" in the box, and go Control + v to paste in the url.

Below is one of your images, but not the one you want. I'll let you add that one.

Randall, it looks like your link is right in your post. You must not have enabled external links. See the tutorial linked in my signature for more help.

You are right, SmugMug resizes based on the letter you put right before the .jpg. You've linked an image ending in "M" for Medium. "L" or "XL are nice big viewing copies for the forum. thumb.gif

Tony, that's not working, either. You've fallen victim to the image-being-in-your-cache-so-it-looks-like-it's-linked-properly syndrome. It's still showing up as a missing image for the rest of us. The problem must be that external links are turned off.

Wow. Weird. It shows on my screen in my post, and on my screen in your post. I have no idea what "external links are turned off" means or how to correct it.

The steps are right, though, aren't they?

I just went back to his site. There's a "We're having problems" SmugMug message displayed. The red one at the top.

I tried my site, and can't even get into it. "Temporary Service Interruption".
    These are usually short-term problems.

Er, yeah we're terribly sorry about this but the site is back up already. We just had a few things to fix on the back end.

Randall, your gallery settings look OK. Anyone having trouble viewing these images? ear.gif

Actually, Randall I take that back. The reason why folks were having trouble seeing this was because you had "Hide Photo" checked underneath it. This will prevent anyone but you as the logged-in owner (and SM admins, whoops lol3.gif) from seeing that image. I unchecked it for you so it should show up now. thumb.gif
