Fog in Shenandoah

Several weeks ago I visted Shenandoah National Park on a rainy day and a lot of fog. After I posted the images to my web, a friend of mine told me I overlooked the real picture...the fog. I thought I had captured the mystique of the fog with the images. He said it was only his opinion. So, I throw the question to the Dgrin community...did I miss the shot?
