Spent a few hours today with my A700 and 70-300G at the 'Paradise Wildlife Park'. Not the biggest wildlife / Zoo I have been to but a nice selection of big cats with good viewing points, the 'G' has now firmly become my animal / wildlife lens as I only junked about 5 shots from the whole day and they were all down to user error
Most shot through either glass or mesh fencing hence a few with odd distortions, hardest part was deciding which ones to post up lol. Hope you like my choices.
#1 Heard a roar, turned shot and hoped for the best
#2 Holding the pose
#3 Chilly day - stand under the heat lamp to keep watch
#4 300mm handheld - head shot
#5 oh whats a cat to do [sigh]
Thanks for looking.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
and I like the B&G shot, but I'm partial

bfjr - sorry, got to ask. . . what does 'B&G' mean (I know it's probably obvious but I can't figure it out)
