New here... natural lighting portraits

I'm definitely an amateur but I'm looking to improve my photos. I take pictures of mostly kids (mine, relatives, and friends).

Here is some examples of my recent photos taken this weekend. Thoughts on improvements?

    Lovely kids! I just love the first one! Great composition! Really like #3 too! Very cool! Perhaps it could serve from just a little cropping above his head? But that's just a matter of taste!
