    Ya know, Brian, that gives my rather slow brain an idea:

    There are so many ruby-throated hummingbirds visiting our feeders that I should try to get a MACRO shot of one while hovering. I'm always getting within two feet of them so, ya never know, ayy?

    Maybe set up a camera with a feeder a few inches away with a remote trigger, perhaps? I bet moderator extroardinaire Harry's already thought that one up (right, HARRY???).

    Should work well - think I have seen that done somewhere else. but think the camera was tethered to a PC so remote focusing was possible
