Photos in multiple galleries

I would like to have the same photo in multiple galleries. For example, right now I have uploaded 2 types of photos: surreal and Provincetown.

Now some photos are only surreal, some are only from Provincetown, and some are both!

I would like the photos that are both to be in both galleries.

I think categories might do the the trick, I'm not adverse to doing that, but I'm still trying to figure those out. (I've been a smugmug member for about 2 hours now.)

Thanks for answering the newbie question!

For now, you upload twice :)
But soon, well, just watch and see!

Hi Paul and welcome to Dgrin and SmugMug! wave.gif

At this point, you can't have a photo in different galleries unless you upload it again.
Did you take a look at keywords? You could use virtual keyword galleries. Just add surreal and provincetown to any photo that you want to have these keywords. Then, you could click on any keyword and see what other photos have that keyword. Read more about keywords here .

    I hope this helps,

Is it not faster to upload once, copy via the Tools menu, and then move the copy to another gallery? Does the smugmug copy feature create an exact simile of the uploaded image?
