Hello everyone,
I've been lurking around this forum for about 2 weeks now, (after joining smugmug), and really want to join in the fun.
So my first post here, any and all c&c are welcome.

scorpion fly: somehow they always get away before I get closer.

1/320s-f5.6-iso1000

snipe fly: (or head down fly)

1/200s-f8-iso400

a bunch of them.

1/200s-f8-iso1600

equipment.: pentax k20d + kiron105mm + monopod

welcome to the forum , good first shots.:D
like the bunch best!
presume natural light as iso very high. a lot of noise in pics
really need to use flash to use low iso.
if you havnt got a flash gun try covering onboard flash with white opaque plastic to diffuse the light.

you're correct about the natural light and high iso. I had an external flash with me but had forgotten the off camera cable :cry
