Chelsea's wedding pics

The day started off dull dark and cloudy for her bridal shots and ended up mid afternoon in the bright sun for their family shots.
The actual wedding was inside in a basketball gym disguised to look like a wedding venue. The darkest venue I have ever shot in.
So pretty much every lighting extreme you could image.
The bridal party and husband showed up 1.5 hours late for the pre wedding pictures. I had 20 minutes to shoot the bridal party and also the bride and groom pictures. I shot the bride alone for 1.5 hours...she loved every minute of it though which was good.
We arrived at the church 5 minutes before the ceremony was supposed to start.
I had to reset all my equipment for the dark venue and get inside and in position in 5 minutes cause they weren't waiting for me.
So pretty much a typical wedding....really.

    Once again...AMAZING photos.

On #75, there seems to be some weird streaking in the bottom right corner over the groom's arm? I dunno what that is, but it was distracting for me. Other than that... .(<--That was me being speechless)...<img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6029383/emoji/clap.gif" border="0" alt="" >

Another wedding so soon? Dang...I want to get this busy.

One question, referring to this gallery and the last one you posted (castle wedding), in this gallery you posted 99 photos, and the other was like 156 or something. Is this everything you are giving to the B&G? Or just what you're putting online for us fans? Or...?

Very nice...it's really hard to pick a favorite...but #22 strikes my fancy.
Remember, no one may want you to take pictures, but they all want to see them.

You must have a great eye for detail. I had not noticed that before.
Looks like some kind of glare into the lens off something??

Thanks for taking a look. Appreciate your comments.
I get pretty busy this time of year. I have done 5 engagement shoots and a wedding in the last two weeks plus my day job.

No these are the shots I double process to be as nice as possible.
The rest are processing Lightroom and all put on a disk.
I probably average about 600-800 shots to the clients per wedding unless they contract for more or less. If I take a good shot they get it, I don't toss good shots to hit a contract number or put in mediocre shots to hit the contract number.
    Once again...AMAZING photos.

Great work Z! I really like the detail shots of the brides shoes/legs and the upshot of her holding the flowers. Also like the one of her by the tracks (prefering the b&w version) and the one of them with that wonderful Idaho mountain range in the background. Very inspiring work! Thanks for posting these for us.

Wonderful photos as usual clap.gif I really liked 63 and 76. I can tell the bride was having a great time taking her pics. What a bummer about the time frame you had to shoot in.

Your bride looks like she had a lot of fun taking the photos with you based on some of the facial expressions she gave :)

I'm not a huge fan of the hands/rings/flower shot... they look a little on the blue side and I don't know that the angle is the best for showing off their rings. Mostly though it's the blue tint that is bothering me I think. When compared to the rest of the photos next to those it's pretty noticeable I think.

Otherwise, I really like the set! 46 and 54 are really fun, and I also really like the train track shots :)

Thanks Mmatt, that up shot with the flowers is one of my favorites.

    Thanks picturegirl,
Yes Chelsea really enjoyed getting her pictures taken, it was fun.
76 is one of those selective color shots...not really something I normally do but the shot just needed something...

    Thanks Shima,
46 and 54 were both shots she had seen somewhere and wanted to try.
She said she had a couple poses she wanted to try and I said go for it, she had fun with it.

I generally do quite few different tints with the black and whites for variety.
Some are true black and whites which can look blue next to some of the ones that have tints to them.
I agree with you I don't really like the blue tint much so I normally give them another tint.
I didn't really get much for ring pictures with these guys, I think I need to start bringing my macro lens and get more creative with them.

Thanks for taking the time to have a look and leave comments!

Her favorite was the shot of her shoes with her dress pulled up with the station tower in the background, she bought a big canvas of it....I in my infinite wisdom almost deleted it...I don't like it at all.
Proving yet again, that we can't choose favorites for the client, you never know what they will pick.
