Hello possums

Just a few cute shots of the local possums taken the other night in Melbourne's Carlton Gardens. Usually they're pretty hard to get close to, but recently local wildlife volunteers have been supplementing their diminishing native diet.
For the purists, I guess this is kind of cheating, but I was still taken totally by surprise at their comfort in close proximity to humans.

    Your possums are cute compared to the ones in my area.
    The possums around here have almost no hair on there head and it is white.
    Also the hair on there body is alot longer and they have a long tail.
    I will try to get a picture of one to show you.
