The grandbaby is 4 months. I have a difficult time seeing these objectively as I just want to pinch her. She is a perpetual pile of drool so I had to pp some of that away!!

I'm trying to learn from these threads and "easier said than done" comes to mind quite a bit!!! haha.]

Very cute grandbaby! Cute expressions.... I usually leave the drool....it's what it is all about at this age! Good composition. Just a few suggestions, no intent to offend......I just do alot of babies.....

All could use a little sharpening to make the eyes sparkle.

Black backgrounds don't often flatter babies, especially when they have dark hair. A white background or outside shots would work well as she starts to sit well on her own. You have no seperation from the baby and the background so the bow stands out quite a bit.

Try not to cut off limbs at the joints.

Thank you for the feedback, I really appreciate it. I don't feel comfortable using the white background because I can't seem to get the lighting down properly---but this really has encouraged me just aggressively buckle down and get that under control.
