A short time ago I had switched from AF to MF on both of my lenses (Canon 18-55 EFS, and Canon 75-300 EF), now when I've switched them both back to AF I get no response. What happened? Did I mess something up? Camera body is the Canon Rebel XT (D350).

Did you perform the test in good light with contrasty subjects?
Has the camera been subjected to dusty conditions when there was no lens attached?

I figured it out this morning. One of the Custom Functions I had set moved the Autofocus from the Shutter Release to the *. I've set it back for now.

I'm glad you got it working normally again. clap.gif

Thanks for letting us know what happened. I'm sure you're not alone in this instance.

Yeah, I almost started to panic. Mark that one up to lessons learned.
