I had the opportunity to photograph the children of a friend of mine tonight. Here are a couple that I liked.

    Hi Brian,
I like all three, nicely done. At first, they seemed a little warm in color but then I decided I like it that way.

I really like these. I love the first, and I think the 2nd might look great in B&W. Lovely shots!

    Like your photos, Brian!
Sorry for putting here my experience
Interesting - how many shots did you make? [I try to make 50 minimum]
I dont like flash - so did you make long exposure shots without flash? [I ask my 'models' to 'stay still' during such shots - just a game...]
    Yes, these wonderful eyes...
What lens did you use? I prefer full zoom... I feel you took these photos being 'too close' to them... am I right?
    Anyway, good job, Brian!

I am glad you liked them Yuri. They cant compare to the stuff you post regularly, but I am learning. I did use flash, there is NO asking these kids to be still. Not a chance. It was after sunset when I took these so the light was fading. I used a 28-80mm zoom at near 80mm.

There was no way to get farther away, there was a rose bush right behind me putting thorn marks in my back as it was.
