Hi - took this shot recently at the Trolfjord, Lofoten Islands in Norway. Photo of this White-tailed Fish Eagle was taken from aboard a trawler.
Equipment: Nikon D300 + Nikkor 70~200VR lens
Settings: Aperture priority f/3.2, shutter speed 1/800, Focal length 200mm, ISO 400, Comp. +0.7, Handheld

    Thanks Glenn, it was even greater than fun... simply magical! I can recommend the area to all. During this time of the year for Eagles and later in the year for Killer Whales (Orca's). There are numerous safari operators to guarantee some wonderful sights

    That's an awesome flight shot for a 70-200VR lens, I think you hit the sweetspot of your lens.
