Wonderful light on the plant and ground!
I'm not sure I'm qualified enough to judge you, but I'm not quite sure of those white clouds on the left...
I'd like to see them more like the one on the right I think.

Although it is quite different in theme, this reminds me of what I think was your winning entry in one of the original dGrin contests with your baby daughter sitting in the lettuce patch in the altogether. I couldn't find it in the galleries, so maybe I am misremembering.
I agree with Tatiana that you might want to darken the brightest part of clouds on the left just a bit.

love the backlighting on the plant & dirt, maybe clean up the leaves a little, meaning clone out some oddities, specks, distractions on the leaves
one off the wall thought was try a square crop cutting the sun in half or just above it...i wonder what that would do for it...not that this image needs much, im just suggesting my odd thoughts
I think the comp is perfect. I have the same nit as the others about the clouds. Also, the sky looks a bit noisy to me, on two different monitors.

Hi Emily...
Ya know, I did something very similar to this, oh boy... only mine is a tree...:D
I will be posting mine for c and c tonight...
You did a wonderful job here.. my favorite is the way you lit up the plant stem, perfect...!
I cant make my mind up about the clouds.. I like them both. I will agree that the one on the left is a little distracting being so different in contrast...
Your definitely bringing it to the competition as usual... Kudos to you...clap
Beautiful image which fits the theme to a tee.
I could be way off base, but have you tried warming up the image a bit? I don't know what it would do, but might be worth a shot whilst "finessing?"
Good luck!
