Series thread question?

If I want to post a thread in the Journey section called Camping series, Will I be able to leave it there? for a summer long long series?

I will be posting pictures from the camping trips up there.

    To keep the viewers viewing, just be sure to add a post every now and then, and add narrative to the shots to continue the story along.

    I will, I've done that with some food tutorials and it seemed to work out very well that way instead of adding a single photo.
