Roseate Spoonbills

As some of you know, the North "Click Pond" next to the Viera Wetlands is currently being pumped dry. The remaining water in the pond with it's consentrated food supply is attracting a number of birds, including Roseate Spoonbills. Problem is that the birds are gathering in the remaining water thats in the middle of the pond, making close shots impossiable.

Good news..... After feeding at the "Click Ponds" the Roseate Spoonbills are comeing over to the Viera Wetlands allowing for some close shots.

The last one is just stunning! (They are all great, as usual . . .) I've seen them perched, but never front-on and never all spread out like this. Beautiful bird! Great work.
Please ignore my opinions! And if I ask for constructive criticism, please give it to me. I have really thick skin! :huh

Ira, great captures of one of my fave birds.

If you say they are too far away in the Click Ponds for you and your 500, I guess I shouldn't try with my 100-400 over there :cry I'll have to wait for them in the wetlands.
