Then you MUST have Scott Kelby's book LR2 For Digital Photographers.
I have to thank Art_Scott for recommending this book to me, it is phenomenal, and I'm only on page 160 or so.
I thought I knew the program fairly well, but, as I said, I'm only on page 160 roughly, and I've learned SO MUCH.
For Example...why do I even need PS CS3 anymore? I mean, for stitching pano's yeah, but EVERYTHING else I do in PS I can now do in LR2, PLUS A LOT MORE!
It's CRAZY ridiculous awesome! And I've only got more to learn!
If you do use LR2, then seriously, even if you don't have the money, or time to read it, or don't know how to read...GET THIS BOOK!
That is all.

YES! AND SO MUCH MORE! It is seriously incredible. Order this book from amazon, it's super cheap and fast shipping. Well... I dunno about to Fairbanks. I lived in Juneau for 23 years, so I know what shipping is like to AK...

The Lr2 local adjustment brush has a "Soften Skin" preset, which just reduces the clarity and sharpness settings. You would use this after you have already removed blemishes and the worst wrinkles with the Spot Tool.

Haha..."Next Day" is really 3-day. "3-Day" is really a week. Ground...pull out your calender cuz it'll be awhile.
But honestly, the shipping for me said 5-9 days. It shipped out on the 7th, and I got it on the 9th. So even two days when they said 5-9, and it was free shipping if you got the slow boat (which in my case, obviously wasn't slow).

OMG...Local Adjustment Brush...Gradient Filter...Sharpening, Masking... THE OPTION KEY! They option key has unlocked so many neat little tricks it's ridiculous. I've almost tried holding option on every slider in LR so far, it's amazing how many it actually works for.
*Disclaimer* Sorry if I seem a little over the top ecstatic, I'm just so excited that this one program does all this awesome stuff that I had no idea it could do. And it just keeps getting better.

Great book. Very easy to read and follow. Best of all, he gives you links to download the images he uses in his tutorials so it makes it much easier to follow along.

it's on my list of those to review (I own it) but anyone can do reviews. PM Ivar if you've a good one written up.
I'm curious if there is one that goes deeper however.
And/or, how could it?
