Hey dgrinners,

I've made a couple posts to the support threads, but have mostly been lurking around this site for the past couple of months. I thought it might finally be time to take the plunge and post my first pic. I look forward to critiques and hope I have thick enough skin to take them. :D

I took this on the Oregon Coast, in a tide pool area, just south of Canon Beach. Personally, I love the comp--just wish I had better background focus. Thought I would have had it at f/7 on a prosumer.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Hiya Ben wave.gif welcome to Dgrin and it's about time you posted a pic.....Laughing.gif

I really like this one thumb.gifthumb.gif and you know, I actually like it better with the surfers a bit soft, rather than in sharp focus.

As Harry wrote, now that you've broken the ice, please feel free to share more of your work clap.gif

I really like the comparison between the rocks and the surfers.
The pictures make me think that maybe the surfers can swim in the "water pool" in the rock. ne_nau.gif
