My day job brought me over the Cascades for the last couple days to Wenatchee. I did some exploring and found some nice areas of Balsamroot in bloom..

Beautiful series in a beautiful location. Think the first one is my favorite. Love the close up shot with the sea of flowers behind over the entire landscape.

Thanks, everyone. I wanted to take a portrait version in order to get more of the hillside but there was a steady rain & my lens hood wouldn't keep the lens raindrop-free.
