Owls and water witches
First bird shoot in a long time for me, felt pretty good 
We had been tipped off about some young long-eared owls and...

A change of location later:
Got a common moorhen
A whitethroat
And to top things off all three of us got a chance to pop some shots of this slavonian grebe from just a few meters away.
Wikipedia has a whole bunch of funny names for this, I guess most of you know it as horned grebe and then there's devil-diver, hell-diver, pink-eyed diver and water witch :lol3
