Recently I had the opportunity to meet a dear friend I've know for several years, but had never met in person.
One of coolest places she took me was only minutes from her house.
Wollongong Harbour, which actually has two lighthouses.
The Lighthouse was completed in 1936 at a cost of $13,600.
Sounds kinda cheap for lighthouse hu
Absolutely beautiful coastline and great surf too.
I had a most enjoyable time ..... Skippy

Oh My, what a couple of stunning landscapes, really a beautiful and powerful subject, and the IR seems to really set that part of it off.
I agree, I am more partial to the 2nd image, but I do like the first image for showing my the whole scene in front of you.
Very nicely done, looks like a good time was had by all:D:D:D

I had this impression in my head that Woollongong was tiny and old for some reason, dunno why
Boy was I shocked at the size of the place and the beauty of that coast line!
The traffic had me laughing, here I was thinking it would one road in and one road out, but it was Highways and congested traffic, I was soooo not expecting that .... I tell you I had visions of cows and trees and not much else
Thanks for looking, been quite a while since I've been out shooting

Good to see you have a little time to do some shooting. This is a very interesting shot to me. The top photo, particularly, looks like two joined shots. The top portion, while certainly the same area, looks, to me, to be separate from the bottom half. I'm probably the only one who sees it that way. Regardless, it's a very nice picture.

There are no joined shots, the sky had a most excellent cloud formation.
I enhanced the clouds in all the shots I took .... Skippy
