Merchant de la playa

Took a little trip this week to Cabo San Lucas with the wife. Got this one of a merchant on the beach with his mobile shop in a briefcase. Not sure if the blown out appearance is working... thoughts?

    Hey, that's a very cool shot. Good composition and strange scene. I like it. thumb.gif I would try to do something to increase the contrast around the guy, though. Maybe HIRALOAM sharpening in that area, or if that doesn't work, a slight multiply or overlay blend on him.

    Thanks Richard. I actually applied a USM filter to lab color but on the whole image. I've been experimenting with just sharpening the subject's face but I think there may not be enough detail to be adequate. I'm definitely open to advice though :D
