Nice capture. The lines look really nice. Too bad you couldn't get a slightly lower perspective but I know that would have been difficult with the moving subject.

I agree that a lower perspective would have been helpful. However, just getting a clear picture of a snake is in my opinion an acomplishment. Around here, we do not have too many snakes, so sightings of them are rare and when I do see them, they are gone very fast. (Obviously, I have no idea if this is true where you are!) So to me, this photo has a lot of appeal.

I think going b&w works well here. I do agree with Travis on the POV, but sometimes you just have to take what you can get!
