Priviet, dear friends!
To make something better we must practice.
You know I like portraits - so the question is: how to practice?
Here's a story. This young lady - Alexandra - works as a cashier in a shop. I saw her and said, when my turn has come: "Oh, how beautiful you are! What a coiffure! Just amzing! It'll be great to photograph you today". She smiles, she cant imagine I have a Sony F707 with me in a small bag.. "Oh, by the way... I make not bad portraits as they say... and, strange thing... I have my camera with me... Can you leave your place for 5 min?"
...
Here are the results...

2 B&w:

3 And I wanted to make something "stylish" to her...

Today I presented her some photos... She was surprised, though she was waiting...
I asked her - was she disturbed a bit - she said Yes.
I asked her - Am I looking like an maniac - she said no, but if all maniacs would look like maniacs, she said...

So this is an end of the story - I said "Its only the beginning of our photosessions - we will continue..."
And she agreed...
Spasibo,
Yuri

Your work amazes me. I love the first one, I'm just a novice at this, but hopefully I am learning. I know she can't wait till your next photo session.

Excellent as usual Yuri thumb.gifthumb.gif I can't decide which of the first two I like the best. She has beautiful eyes and skin so the color one appeals to me, but the sultry look she is giving in the B&W appeals to me also ne_nau.gif

Finally, you have let us in on your secret that you use to get these lovely creatures to pose for you clap.gif I will try this later and probably get my face slapped lol3.gif

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

These are really great Yuri. A very pretty girl too - I look forward to the next session!
Today I presented her some photos... She was surprised, though she was waiting...
I asked her - was she disturbed a bit - she said Yes.
I asked her - Am I looking like an maniac - she said no, but if all maniacs would look like maniacs, she said...
When I ask a young girl recently if I could take her photo she asked me why. I said I collect pictures of pretty young ladies. She said "that's freaky"

These days, here, with what we hear in the media, I don't think I would go off with someone who said that to me.

So, I understand the "freaky" thing.

Yuri, I like the last one best. So ageless of people at that age.

There is a book out about portraits and the law, or something like that. Lots of different releases, it said. I just read about it today.
After all is said and done, it is the sweet tea.
