    That last one looks remarkably like the Sandhill that hangs on on the hole in front of my house. You might notice the difference in eye color. The eye changes color as the Sandhill ages, but there are variations in eye color among mature adults. There's a study on this - and other changes in Sandhills - at http://tinyurl.com/p8tgoa

    Living on a golf course as I do, and sharing it with Sandhills, is not all that great. They are very noisy birds. Very noisy.
