what are the icons to the left of the threads?

I looked all through DGrin, including FAQs, and cannot find a key to the meaning of the various icons which appear to the far left of the threads (ex: blue envelope, open envelope with letter coming out, etc)

Can you point me to a list of those icons and their meaning?

Click on the top level of any forum, say Landscapes or Dgrin Support and scroll to the bottom of the page. They correspond to the activity of each thread.
