Poor man's macro: weird stuff

My wife found this tiny furry fly sitting in our bath tub. Covered in fibres on top, but I'm not sure what the finer furry stuff on its abdomen is..
It was walking around ok, though not very confident.
Can anyone shed some light on this?

Guess it must be a woolly aphid (they do exist) - it's certainly an aphid- good find
