Saguaro Rib Under The Stars

Tried a little light painting.

This is a cool shot. Love the use of negative space to isolate the cactus. Got any with star trails?

Quite unusual Dan. Is that "the" Saquaro? I like how you captured just a hint of the shrubbery around it.... kind of puts it in context without detracting from it.. I think I might have cloned out the reddish pavers? at the base. They tend to draw my eye away from the cactus. For what it's worth I also like the stars as they are.

Thanks for the feedback Jack. Not sure what "the" saguaro is, but this is definitely not "it".

I was referring to your saquarro that so often pops up on the wildlife forum (usually with an outstanding feathered visitor perched upon it).

When you get around to trying some star trails, return here if you can. This comp would look pretty cool with that added element!
