Excellent set...love the mallards taking off. The gorilla is excellent and if only that coyote had turned just a bit more toward you! Still wonderful shot.

Thanks dnie! I looked at your site - some of your shots remind me of Iowa, where I grew up. Brought back memories...very nice stuff!

Thanks Dan! Glad to find this forum.

That 500mm glass is really a Nikkor 300mm f/4 AF-S with a Nikon 1.7x converter. Big surprise to me - I wasn't expecting great things, but it's worked out very nicely so far. :ivar

Thanks Stephen! Yeah, that coyote wasn't very cooperative that day. He was a lot more interested in the other coyotes than he was of me - go figure! mwink.gif

Thanks Chile Chef! Nothing wrong with another "Kong" title, IMO. :D

That gorilla was fun to watch. The grumpy look on his face is because he was watching some teenage girls, who were to my left. Whatever they were doing, he clearly didn't approve. After a bit he snorted in disgust, and stomped away. Kinda sent chills down my spine, 'cause it seemed like I could tell what he was thinking!
