Hi has anyone tried their CF Cards? While searching for a new card
(a shame that SanDisk prices are almost the same as they were 1
year ago) I came across TekQ their site http://www.tekq.com/products2-1.html.
Looks like a business ... and I even found some happy users here:

At half the price of a comparable SanDisk ... waddayathink?

I will stay with Transcend..........I like name brands that have a proven history of reliability............
Good luck with your purchase and do keep us informed on how it performs in the sweltering heat of summer and the frigid cold of winter...........
speeds using xbench 1.3 (for Mac) and a SanDisk Firemate
FireWire 800 Cardreader. The results:
TekQ 16GB 133x CF:
Sequential Access:
Uncached Write 4.59 MB/sec [4K blocks]
Uncached Write 8.74 MB/sec [256K blocks]
Uncached Read 6.20 MB/sec [4K blocks]
Uncached Read 13.35 MB/sec [256K blocks]
SanDisk Extreme III 16GB CF:
Sequential Access:
Uncached Write 5.57 MB/sec [4K blocks]
Uncached Write 21.83 MB/sec [256K blocks]
Uncached Read 6.59 MB/sec [4K blocks]
Uncached Read 28.16 MB/sec [256K blocks]
Obviously the speed of the TekQ is roughly only half of that of
the SanDisk, but imo it should be fast enough for almost
any kind of shooting situation except maybe for sports.
