After posting my bluebird chicks, now I found bewick's wrens. The first brood of Bewick's Wrens that had been nesting in my boxes are now emerging. I heard mom and dad going nuts in some thick brush just off my property. When I went over to see what was going on I found this little one that had just emerged. Its mouth is open, but it is not calling. It was waiting for food from mom and dad nearby. It was perfectly still and quiet.

This is the only shot of mom or dad that I could get. I think this is dad.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
